Dropped in Europe in late February 2010 the latest Sony Ericsson Xperia range, the X10.

Unlike last X1, X10 eschews the Windows Mobile OS and Android instead of 1.6 (Donut) based. I think it was right to say this is almost certainly more heat anticipated based on Google's mobile OS from the beginning.

Hardware wise, X10 is great hitter - see the specification of this naughty:

CPU: Packing equivalent RISC CPU 1GHz Snapdragon like Google Nexus One is certain to take a call when it comes to handling more than one Android Apps.

Screen: A defeat 4 inch capacitive touch screen WVGA display at 480 x 854 resolution. No multitouch sad.

Camera: No time to break a good 8.1 megapixel autofocus, geotagging hands and face recognition (more than this later).

Email: Size also supports POP3, SE has kept one eye of their reputation for good service and business support for Microsoft Exchange imeingiza outside the box.

The Rest:

  • A-GPS Support

  • Wi-Fi

  • 3.5mm Headphone Jack

  • microSD card slot.

  • microUSB connector

  • Stereo Bluetooth

  • 1500 mAh battery

Common sense, not a small handsets X10, but at 63 x 119 x 13mm and weighing 135g at a good touch and love offers the iPhone and Blackberry.

User Experience

If there is one thing that Sony Ericsson's sweet love their interface, and no discrimination X10. While it is true is supported by Android, a familiar interface is hidden behind the SE's interface they call themselves Nexus UX - User Xperience.

Interface of the UX puts great emphasis on the social networking and communications. Traditional day contact names, numbers and email addresses may be lost. In SE X10 includes an application called Timescape, and contacts in your App relating to online services such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, and all your recent communications (Texts, email, calls, etc.) are available directly from one communication.

Also the X10 is a media power management application called Mediascape, leaving one area for music, videos and photos.

Speaking of photos, the X10 has one more trick on the Sleeve. X10 programs from the camera using algorithms to recognize faces in images of power (up to 5 faces per image). Their recognition is automatically tagged in the photos, so you can quickly search all your photos significant other, or a dog!

Of course, you just go back a series of small Apps on X10 - do not forget this Android phone - giving you access to thousands of Apps on Android Market.

All in all, this seems like a hell of a telephone and is one of doubt you want my list - so, Sony Ericsson, if you re-read this, the possibility of late Christmas day?; O)

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will be available in Europe from February 28, 2010 and will be available in silver and black.
